ACCA Trainee Accountant

A thriving established accountancy practice based in North West London, Harrow have a fantastic opportunity to offer finance graduates looking to gain experience as well as being supported via a significant cost contribution towards completing there ACCA exams and becoming fully qualified.

The practice have been established for over 30 years and boasts supporting a variety of clients over many different industries. The practice take huge pride in the businesses and people they support and continue to work with clients that have been with them for decades.

The role will be based in Harrow working alongside 6 others in the office. As well as the cost, training and support in completing there ACCA exams and becoming qualified, day to day duties for the role will include:

• Preparing year end statement and tax returns
• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing management accounts
• Bookkeeping
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasts
• Carrying out work on the internal finance software systems including Iris, Sage & Quickbooks
• Speaking with clients and aiding in client queries
• Aiding other members of the team as well as other adhoc duties

For this role, the practice are looking to see CV’s with the following skills and backgrounds:

• A finance degree graduate with a desire to become ACCA qualified
• Previous experience or exposure to an accountancy practice or having held some finance experience / internship would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Highly organised
• Strong systems skills with MS Office packages, especially Excel
• Any experience with Iris, Sage & Quickbooks would be useful but not required
• Ability to commit to a full time permanent role based at the office in Harrow.

The role will be working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm and the practice are looking to pay a salary of £22,000 per annum, plus offering a strong financial contribution to the costs of becoming ACCA qualified.
